Well, they didn’t come broken at all. These were packaged very well except for the Amazon exterior box that the bottom was falling out of. I thought for sure something would be broken, but nope. The interior packaging actually stopped that from happening.The plates were fired very badly. My husband who has very little tact asked me who pooped on the plates. The middle of the dinner plates have a lot of black speckles that are condensed in about 1 1/2″ and just make the plates look dirty. I guess it would be different if all the plates looked the same but they don’t. Two of them have some type of gray lines that make them look smeared and I had to take a file to the bottom of the cups. I would have scratched my glass tabletop up really nice with these. Also, because of the wide rims, there’s not much room for food on these plates.They seem sturdy enough and the colors and patterns are exactly what I was looking for. I wouldn’t put these in a microwave or a dishwasher as all this stuff is coming out of China. I’d pay more for better quality.I’ve decided to keep them as I have a very medieval-looking dining room and this was the only dinnerware that seemed to work. Just make sure your guests have a couple of nice stiff mixed drinks before you eat so they don’t notice the flaws.

Unboxing this product you could tell they took great care in packaging. I’m always worried when unboxing something like this that I’ll find broken pieces, but with the way they packed it, you could drop them off a skyscraper and they’d still be intact.Visually, they are attractive dishes. They are even better than the pictures. The design and color are both really nice. They are elegant but functional.I can’t really comment on the durability because I just got them yesterday. But I live in a house with three kids, I’m sure time will tell.My only complaint t is that they’re not very deep and the borders are so big that it doesn’t leave a ton of functional surface. But as my daughter says, it will encourage portion control. So there’s that.If you have seen these and like them, I can easily recommend them. I’m looking forward to bringing them out at dinner parties.

I was so excited to open the box. Once i did, i was disappointed. The dishes look like a poor imitation of the photo. The brown outside is splotchy in color. The center is a different color than photo, speckled and color inconsistent. The dishware is heavier than most and i do like the shape of the mugs. I had planned to order a second set. Glad I waited. I will not be ordering a second set.

These dishes are attractive!!!!! The plate center is smaller than the average plate, but quite honestly, it is the perfect size for a normal sized meal. The bowls are deep and are tan on the inside, not black, like most sets. The coffee cups have a nice large handle.The packaging is very nice. I bought 3 sets and everything came in perfect condition, no chips or breaks.I am so happy with my purchase and highly recommend these stunning dishes.

This is a very nice set. The pattern is pretty. However… When I got my first set, it was perfect- I loved it so much that ordered another one right away. But when the second one arrived, the pattern and color was messed up on some dishes. So I had to exchange for another one. And even second one came ‘uneven’ – some dishes lighter, some darker, some spots, etc.

These aren’t expensive dinnerware sets but they are not what you would term “inexpensive” The finish/glazing on this dinnerware has splotches and inconsistent coloring from plate to plate, bowl to bowl, or cup to cup. I ordered 2 sets (8 servings) and I probably have 3 or 4 different color varistions. The set quality is not what I expected for the price. My previous set, a $50, 8 piece serving set from Walmart, has a better finish to the product. It’s too bad because the plate has a very nice looking design. *one set/box of the plates came broken, they replaced this set with no problem. The finish problem continued in the replacement set.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! The set of dishes I brought look nothing like the picture. I am redecorating my house and wanted some dishes that would match my dinning room furniture. I am very disappointed about the dishes. I will however keep the dishes and give them away or donate them to a family in need.

I read all the reviews and don’t understand any of the bad reviews. Nothing was broke (I ordered 2 sets) everything was packaged securely. The dishes are GORGEOUS! They look just like the picture. They are off white (I would have liked them a bit more white) but they attractive! They surpassed my expectations

This was a gift for a family moving into their home who had “nothing”. They were just happy with this as their main basic dishes. The dishes are extremely well done… very pretty. Sturdy for certain. The colors were deep and attractive. The embossed design is great. She is very happy and so am I.

These dishes are very nice! They have a attractive rope pattern around the outer edges. They match our cowboy/western theme that we are doing in the dining room.

Love the design of these dishes. Received order today. One cup was broken. However, reached out to customer service and they handled it promptly and courteously. They are replacing without having to return the whole set! I bought 3 sets just in time for the holidays!! 🙂

attractive set of dishes that are great for daily use. They feel sturdy, and have already held up well to being banged around. Packaging was extremely nice- all pieces arrived unbroken. These dishes are typical size, and fit well in my cabinets and dishwasher. (I’ve seen other sets that are nice, but won’t fit into kitchen cabinets because they are a couple inches larger than normal.)
