OK I feel like you need to know you have to drill holes in your barrel for the spring to connect to. I used self tappers because my barrel was already on a tree. That being said I love it works great. ITs easy to use and everything its supposed to be.

Much better quality and heavier than I was expecting. I bought this lid for my burn barrel and it is heavy enough I don’t need the spring latches

The lid is much thicker and heavier duty than I thought it would be. Very pleased. I would like to see a better mounting system and taller sides. The springs are a nice idea, but they need to be attached so that they can be attached and removed easily each time something is put in the barrel; which in my case is frequently.

This works fine for me, but is hard to take off and put on when the barrel is full and expands. Maybe adding a little room for error would be nice as the spring hold the lid tight as is. The springs are hard to install. Serves its purpose.

I ordered this lid, it arrived very quickly and without any issues. I used it on a American Hunter 350 pound capacity tripod feeder barrel. It fits perfectly and the over lapping lid protects the contents from the weather.

The picture really says it all. The metal in my opinion is plenty strong for the application. Installs in 10 minutes. Its galvanized but I used spray paint and it adhered well enough. I have already bought a second one.

Great replacement for plastic feeder barrel lids. Use long springs to attach to sides of barrel and it’s easy to remove and replace when filling your feeder.

use this as a burning barrel lid to keep moisture out. Works well. Added a “Square U bolt ” as a handle. nice investment if you burn.

This lid is exactly what the other reviews stated, WELL made. Hardware was included. Galvanized as described, don’t want to meet up with the animal that chews this lid!

Sending this lid back. It is very, very shallow. Even with the springs holding it in place I don’t think it will be watertight. It is well made otherwise.

Perfect, if you have a critter problem this works. If you have a large critter problem like raccoons set a brick on top of it and it works even better. I highly recommend this product.
