This is a attractive set of everyday dishes. I love using them, they are so pretty. They are a nice size and weight. Someone complained the bowls were too shallow but I don’t agree. They are plenty big enough for us to use for cereal or soup. Now if you like a big bowl of pasta, these bowls might be too small, but I prefer this size for everyday use. Also, the mugs are a nice size. This has been a problem for me with other sets, the mugs are usually either too small or gigantic. These are definitely in the Goldilocks zone. Would definitely recommend this set. Also, the background color is more blue than turquoise if that matters to you.If you want truly indestructible dishes go get Corelle. I personally cannot stand Corelle and by gosh if you buy them you better love them because they will be around forever. These are surely less durable, but so much nicer. I’ve had them a month or so and don’t see any issues with daily use yet. But if you are breaking four and five dishes in a month then go buy Corelle and also maybe make a doctor appointment.

I have yet to have a problem with these dishes. They are our daily dishes set. The only thing I noticed that some people may not like is that the black outer rim is not uniform in some spots. I think it adds to the uniqueness.

When I showed my husband a picture of these dishes he absolutely loved them and more so in person. I ended up getting two sets because I’m planning for some big dinners with lots of guests. The plates we’re not too heavy like most stoneware but durable enough that I think they will outlast my children. The packaging was completely phenomenal double boxed. And came with and dear note letting me know that they would replace anything that was damaged as well as a warrantee to replace anything damaged up to a year. I was excited to get these, but they’re blue rather than the teal blue they look in the pictures. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep them, but after taking them all out, I still think they’re pretty. It also helps that they offer a year warranty, no questions asked.

Just what we needed 4’plates 4 mugs 4 small plates and 4 large plates. Color is brilliant. Not sure about durability yet but love the quality

These are even prettier in person and have such a nice weight and feel to them. Each plate is a tiny bit different so you really do get the sense of hand-painting and glazing. They are a nice compromise between my husband and I – girly enough for me but in colors and textures he feels comfortable with. He picked them out! My only 3 complaints – I wish you could order additional pieces a la carte; I wish they had a line of serving bowls and platters to go with these ; unfortunately after less than a week of using them we noticed small chips on the edges of a some of the plates. Now I’m kind of afraid of using them too much! However, Elama is supposed to have an extremely nice sense of customer service and I’m pretty confident they will help us replace our chipped plates. All in all, I LOVE these dishes.

I ordered two sets of these dishes. They looked attractive on Amazon, but oftentimes the picture doesn’t match the actual product so I was happy to see that the dishes matched the picture. I was most impressed with the way the dishes were packed. The orders were double boxed (a box within a padded outer box) and the dishes were tightly packed within each box, but not so tight that you couldn’t get the product out of the box. The last time I ordered dishes through Amazon, both of the boxes of dishes I ordered had broken pieces so I had to send each box back and get a new set. Needless to say, I was skeptical to try this again, but with Covid, there just isn’t much selection in the stores. I am glad that I tried it one more time. They are a really pretty dishware set. The flower design and colors give it a nice Asian feel, and the dishes, bowls, and mugs all have a nice weight and feel. Plus, they stack easily in my cabinet and the dishwasher.Another reason I chose this set and the company that produces them over others was because of all the positive reviews and the fact that customer service is so easy to work with, not to mention, you get a 1-year replacement, one item replacement! That’s very nice! We all know that dishes can easily break when you are loading or unloading them in the dishwasher so this was an important perk for me as the reason I needed to get new dishes in the first place is that after just a few short years, I only had 2 plates out of a set of 8 that didn’t have chips all over my attractive, but obviously not very sturdy dishware!Overall I am very pleased with this purchase!

My husband and I got this set for our new kitchen to add to the natural theme. These actually ended up much more attractive in person than I imagined! The turquoise is more toned down in person and I am very glad about that. Initially, I was afraid they could be a bit garish, but their color balance is perfect. If I had one criticism, it would just be the size of the bowls. This is a personal taste though, and I can just supplement with another set of bowls and use these for oatmeal or something. For the price and the quality, I do not regret this purchase!

after 50 years I thought we deserved a new set of dinnerware. Yes, we have had several sets and even more expensive ones but never ones that captured the first set we used as newlyweds. I wanted something special to remind us of those days and this was the ideal set. It was exquisite and attractive and had extremely high ratings. Granted I bought it on sale so I feel that I got really nice value for my money but I would have bought it either way. Since I just gave these to wife yesterday on our anniversary I can’t really comment on their sturdiness and durability except to say that it has nice ratings and I have seen nothing so far that would make me uneasy…they seem wonderful and my wife has a big smile on her face and seems Very, Very Pleased with them as well.
