Have been trying to find a nice hard floor and carpet cleaner combo and have thus far been unsuccessful. I have ordered, tried and returned all of the reasonably priced consumer models–each for different reasons. The Koblenz is a solid machine, very easy to assemble, and the scrubbing brushes and carpet brushes are nice. I tried this on both my carpet and kitchen floor. I started with the carpet, using the scrubbers and solution they provide specific to the carpet. I filled the solution holder full and started cleaning, pulling the trigger to release the liquid as I thought it was needed. After about 10 minutes of moving the carpet cleaner around the carpet, I looked down and the entire canister of solution was empty. I have an oriental carpet I was cleaning so I didn’t notice how wet was it was getting but the spray and release mechanism didn’t work and basically dumped all the liquid, saturating my carpet. I blotted a lot of it up. The carpet did dry and did look a lot cleaner so it worked, just not how I expected. I tried to fix the mechanism and changed scrubbers and cleaners to hard floor cleaning to try the machine on my kitchen floor but again, within 10 minutes of scrubbing my tile floor, the entire canister of cleaning fluid had dumped on my kitchen floor. The upside is that the scrub brushes, ease of assembly and use, and the light “floating” action of the machine when on are all great. The kitchen tiles and carpet were cleaner. The downside, aside from the machine arriving broken, is that there is no way to suck up the water from the tile floor after scrubbing so then one has to mop afterward. Too much work! I would love a machine like this one that also sucks up the dirty water into a separate canister. I tried the models that claim to do this, but they suck as you clean which doesn’t allow enough water to get onto the floor to actually clean it. A machine should scrub first then have a mechanism to switch on to pull up the water.

Sooo happy with this scrubber. I have old satillo tile throughout and the scrubber worked great. I did not use the water dispenser instead I used a mop bucket and mop to slosh water on tile, scrubbed it then moped it clean.

We used this product to scrub our ceramic tile floor and grout in our kitchen and to shampoo our wall to wall carpets in our condo. Both pads worked great and the scrubbing action was so much better than trying to do it by hand. I would recommend this product for anyone with carpets and floors that need heavy cleaning.

The Koblenz Shampooer is a great piece of machinery with variable speed, the only issue is the solution leaks from the holding tank before it’s applied.

According to Amazon I cannot return this item because it has liquid detergents sent with it. I did not know this at the time of purchase. That is not the only issue. I had one of these from Sears and it was great. I wore it out. This model, the canister does not stay on. it falls off constantly. The carpet brushes after ONE use are spreading out and would be useless after another use. I am giving the seller 48 hours to contact me after which I will place a dispute with my bank. If Amazon is not going to allow returns they must print this in bold letters on the item or order page. They must let their customers know if an item cannot be returned before it is purchased.

Just received this and was impressed. Wasn’t flimsy and had enough weight to get the job done without bearing down. Then the dissapoints started. Like the other reviews the tank started leaking and making a mess to mop up. BUt it did clean built up dirt well. THen the motor started dragging like it was straining. No pressure was put on it ant after a short time. Then it started making a rattling sound after being turned off and slowing down. Something was loose inside. So don’t waste time with this until the manufacturer corrects these problems and you start seeing better reviews.And for some reason Amazon would not allow a return because the item is flammable. Go figure that one out. But they did issue a refund .

I would give a 0 if I could. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I have purchased 2 and neither one works. The first one would not go together at all so I purchased a 2nd one as I really wanted this cleaner. It arrived broken. Amazon will do nothing. So I am not stuck with 2 cleaners and out over $300 and neither one works!!

My old Hoover FloorMax died. I used it to scrub my tile and then sucked up the dirty water with my Hoover carpet cleaner. I did this three times a year and my grout and tile were clean. I researched the Koblenz and took my time deciding to order it and then took the plunge. I received my Koblenz scrubber/buffer on May 8. I could not use it due to COVID situation and when I finally got to use it it was past the 30 day return policy. It’s a nice machine EXCEPT there’s something wrong with the design that the tank water leaks out at crazy rate. You don’t even have to use the trigger. I contacted the seller and of course, nope, it’s been over 30 days so now I’m stuck with a seriously leaking machine. I cannot find the Koblenz manufacturer customer service. I’ve come to the conclusion that Koblenz KNOWS they sell defective machines and make it hard to contact them.
