This microphone works great and ouu 8 year old LOVES it ! However it states that everything is included, but it is not! In order for it to work, you need to purchase an amplifier. This might be common sense to most, but to us parents whose daughters just love to ham it up it is not. I did purchase a small amp through Amazon. It is the honeytone mini amp and the plug to charge the mini amp. You do not need the cord to plug your mic to the amp as it comes with the microphone. Now it works great and our daughter is very happy!

I’ll start right off by saying I did NOT purchase this to be attached to an amp – or even have the cord attached to the mic.I bought this because my daughter wanted a microphone with a stand to sing with in her room. At first, I tried looking for a “kid’s” version of a microphone but they look to be flimsy and cost essentially as much as this one.So, from the perspective of a prop for a 9 year old girl, this thing is very nice. The stand is sturdy and is easy for her to adjust – depending on just how hard she’s rocking out. It can be adjusted to fit her and her little brothers, but is a little short for their 6 foot tall dad to easily drop mad rhymes. I needed to tighten the screw at the top of the stand (where the mic sits) to make sure it didn’t tilt when my daughter didn’t want it to, but it’s a simple phillips head screw and took only seconds.In all, we’re very happy with this microphone and stand. And, I’d say that I’d buy it again, but it’s well constructed and I don’t think I’ll ever have to worry about that.

When this microphone arrived the grill was broken in two pieces. The seller quickly sent out another one to replace the broken one and the second one arrived in perfect condition. We even got the second one time to still be our daughters gift and before the deadline we needed it by. No questions asked!We bought this for my daughter who has a mini karaoke machine. Even though the machine isn’t the best quality the microphone is and sounds great. Might have to upgrade her machine to match the quality of this microphone now. Glad it has its own on of switch also because she tends to leave her main machine on after use.When the microphone is placed in its stand it is secure and would doubt it would fall out on its own.It is very high quality and the stand is sturdy and the wires/plugs are heavy duty. Stand adjust easy with a turn style tightener. I would recommend it to anyone for kids or adults. Also, I am witness to the great customer service and 30 money day guarantee on this item.

Santa brought this microphone for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it! Just note that you need to buy some sort of amp in order for it to work. I purchased a mini amp that was recommended on the page when I was purchasing the microphone. Great microphone and lots of fun for the whole family! 🙂

The stand is as solid as any model of this type. The microphone is well made and sound quality is nice. The mic barrel is oddly big so I am glad that a clip was included. I am using the stand to hold a small Etherwave Theremin and it’s decently stable by allowing the center core to sit on the floor.

Bought used from amazon warehouse for just over $10. Didn’t expect much, I really just wanted a mic stand… Which is usually costs more than that alone. Its cheap, but I just wanted it for an extra mic stand to leave in the jam room and not worry about if it gets messed up. Also I am over 6′ and the mic is tall enough for me at max height, but not if I was much taller. The mic stand is super light, but seems stable. The cable it came with is XLR to 1/4″ which is cool, but if you only have XLR inputs you might be disappointing. The mic seems fine, not a Shure, but actually better than I expected for the price. Overall this was a score for $10, and if you think you are going to get a top notch Mic, stand, and Cable for around $20 new, than you are mistaken.

Our first package was damaged and arrived open in delivery and missing pieces. Company resent new one immediately and it is great. It’s almost professional equipment which my kids are using with karaoke, singing poorly,….. but great product, STURDY and great customer response

The microphone worked nicely with the small amp that I also purchased at the same time. The issue I had with the microphone was after one use it fell apart and I couldn’t get it back together. As always, Amazon has fabulous customer service and the broken microphone was promptly replaced to the delight of my fourth grade students who thought they were really cool when using it. I would recommend it. I only gave it four stars because it didn’t last as long as I thought it should the first time around.

Perfect microphone and stand for our four year old to pretend she’s on stage. Now we enjoy watching her nightly talent shows. As mentioned, you will need an amplifier/speaker of some sort. Luckily, we had one already.

This is not a bad mic for the money. Maybe if you do karaoke shows or something not on a grand scale.
