What a letdown! I collect 1/24 cars and never expect them to be perfect. There is always a small flaw or 2, so when I saw a paint bubble while it was in the package on the rear quarter panel I wasn’t happy, but I could live with it.Then I was flabbergasted when I pulled it out and saw a large dent on the driver’s side of the hood, totally unacceptable. Upon further review – 3 more paint bubbles for 4 total. Never took off the wrappers – back this thing goes and this brand is off my list.. See pics…

I love this item! This is a 1/24 scale die-cast metal replica of the classic 1966 batmobile (about 8.5″ in length). For the most part, this is an extremely nice display item for any Batman collector. The model moves very smoothly, and comes with a 2.5″ tall Batman figure (also die-cast metal, but the cape and cowl are plastic), based off of the 1960s Adam West design.The only down side for me is that the Robin figure that comes with this is all plastic, and glued down to the passenger seat of the Batmobile. Some have complained that the Batman figure cannot also sit in the Batmobile, due to no flexible joints or parts, but the Batmobile and figure are really only meant for display anyway. But it would have made sense to include a die-cast metal Robin figure as well that cannot sit inside the Batmobile either, to be consistent with the Batman figure. So the inconsistency is an odd choice by Jada Toys.Also, the red lining on the Batmobile is a bit too orange, and probably needed to be more red to be accurate in color (although the red from the TV series does have a bit of an orange tint to it, I think).Overall though, this Batmobile is essential for any Batmobile collector. Despite the flaws, it still looks fantastic, and has a nice weight to it being made out of metal, making it very durable. I have no regrets purchasing this item.

I tend to collect a bit of the 1966 Batmobile items. This one is very nicely done. Mine was blemish free, and the paint was perfect. The figures (Batman and Robin) are ok, though I’m more interested in the car itself. The doors open, though the trunk and hood do not. Being made from metal, it has some solid weight to it.

I have a collection of several 1/24 Batmobiles – all without figures in them. I wanted the 60’s version but wasn’t happy that Robin was stuck in the car as it looked out of place with my other Batmobiles. Thankfully you can remove him with a little work. On the bottom of the car are 6 screws – remove those and the body will lift off. The passenger compartment comes out easily once the body is removed. From there just pry Robin out – he’s glued so it may take a little effort. Thankfully the seat under him is fully molded but it does leave a hole where Robin was glued in. I covered the hole with black vinyl tape and did the same to Batman’s seat to match. I could have probably left it with the hole as it’s barely noticeable once the car is back together. From there just remount the body and put the screws back in – done and no Robin. Additionally, Robin is talking on the phone handset but the phone handset is also in the car – so maybe Batman had 2 handsets in his car. All in all a nice model – I think the stripes are too orange and the paint is just ok but set your expectations for a $25 model and it’s a nice deal and I finally have the 60’s version of the Batmobile in my collection.

The Jada original Batman car is a well done 1/24 replica. Details are on point as is the entire color scheme. Unfortunately Batman does not sit in the car and Robin is placed in a seated position within the passengers seat. A few screws removed from the bottom of the car and Robin can be taken out. Overall I am very pleased with the vehicle as it is going to be added to my collection.

This is a throwback toy. Both, because it is the iconic Batmobile and because it is made of metal – the way toys were made before plastic became king. It looks cool on any shelf, can be played with and it won’t break and will get the attention of anyone who visits. The fanboys can keep this collectible in the box for future generations – as for me I’m going to place front and center on my top shelf or chase down the Joker.

My son LOVES diecast model cars, I figured he would really like this as he likes Batman a lot as well. It’s a nice sturdy car, my only complaint is that Batman does not sit or fit in the car and you cannot remove Robin, had I known this I wouldn’t have bought it.

Ordered this product for my grandson’s 6th birthday. Came in a timely manor. Only one problem, the Batmobile did not have its light on the top of the car. It looked to have been forgotten to be placed when they assembled the item. If this had been for me I would have sent it back. But my wife needed to finish his birthday cake. Other than that, it is a a nice priced memory.

What a great Batmobile! The real deal folks!! This is the only true genuine George Barris styled Batmobile, the one we grew up with as kids with Adam West and Burt Ward. Car looks great! Hi gloss, authentic, durable, and impressive colors. Not one of those silly ever changing blob or torpedo versions. Very cool, low profile and sleek retro look. No silly matte black whale shape here.

I purchased similar items for myself. A co-worker saw what I had purchased. He is a fan of the 60’s series show. So, I figured I purchase this as a gift for a mutual fan. He was surprised and thankful for the item. He displays it in his work area.
