My dad is 92 years old hard of hearing and legally blind. This phone Programs up to eight people that he can contact just by pushing a pad. He also has no problem hearing with this phone which is wonderful. I highly recommend this phone system

This handset works fine after getting it registered to the base. Unfortunately, I wasted way too much time trying to register it because the instructions that came with it are wrong. I finally had to call vtech support to get the right instructions.If your instructions say to push and hold the Page button on the base and then put the handset in the base to register it, that won’t work. You have to push and hold the Page button on the base, then push # on the handset. Easy, but only when they tell you how to do it.

Like the pre-loaded spam blocker (you have to enable it in the settings), extra loud ringer, and volume control.Biggest con, my mother keeps slider the volume control down to lowest setting on the cordless unit because she isn’t paying attention when she uses the phone and keeps telling me people aren’t talking to her when she answers phone.Solution: hot glue gun…problem fix on cordless handset.

Love the phone — it’s for my elderly father. the volume was INSANELY LOUD. thought you couldn’t adjust the volume to a ‘normal’ level, but YOU CAN. it has to be done via the handset (go to settings–on page 15 of manual). pics are great for dialing. orange light if ‘off the hook’, announces the caller….ALL nice!

MY 96 YO DAD HAS MACULAR DEGENERATION AND TREMORS AND CAN’T USE CELL PHONES. HE CAN ANSWER THIS AND MAKE CALLS IF NEEDED WITH THE PREPROGRAMED BUTTONS. THE BEST THING IS THAT IT HAS STOPPED THE ROBO CALLS – THAT’S A GREAT BONUS!
