It’s ok. Temperature control is not reliable. We have had toast burn at the 3 setting, but most of the time it works ok. Doesn’t do bagel toasting (one side). It works as a very basic no frills toaster.

While I love the color, using this toaster is a challenge. It takes a lot of force to get the toaster lever to stay down. I read quite a few reviews that mentioned it as well, so I am guessing it’s a design flaw. BUT color? It’s totally rad..

I ordered this toaster specifically to match my Epicurious cookware. It matches perfectly, but it toasted one side of waffle. I returned the first toaster and was shipped a replacement. It toasts only one side of my waffle (must be defect) and the replacement looks used and it has dark smudges/marks on the stainless face. I am returning again.

Unpacked and plugged it in to burn off the newness. From the start only half of the elements lit up (the inside on both sides DID NOT). Set it to max (6) and ran it 5 more cycles and still no inside heat, a couple elements lit up a bit.Checked the setting to be sure reheat defrost were not on (they weren’t), also the manual says nothing about a bagel setting that would turn off half the elements.Going to try having Amazon replace it with another of same model and send back the first one.The second toaster arrived and I tried it out right away. The outside elements both all lit up brightly, while the inside ones only about 3/4 of them lit up at all and about 1/2 power. So instead of returning it and trying another brand I just accepted the fact that I’d toast the bread at level 2 and then turn it around and toast it again.Life is too short to play games over a toaster. :-)Amazon Smile is the BEST !!! WARRANTY IS RIDICULOUS!!! Loved the look of this toaster. Worked great for a first month and then had trouble getting both sides of both pieces of bread toasted evenly. Completely stopped working about 6 months after purchase. When I called they told me to email receipt to Warranty Dept. Just notified that I must send it to them at my expense and they will then either repair or replace. Toaster was only $25 and it costs $20 to return it for repair!!!

Like others have said, the quality control is poor. Arrived with the tabs on the bottom to hold the crumb tray, broken. With it gone, the toast falls straight through. Spring lever broke after 2 pushes.
