After reading reviews on different dance poles, it seemed like this was the one that was worth the money, so I gave it a shot. It was my first time on a dance pole, and from watching youtube videos I knew it was going to be very hard exercise, but I needed to keep myself interested in working out, so I got it.I’d say this is a nice dance pole, with very little negative aspects.Installation was not too hard, took a little bit longer than what the company claims it would be, no big deal. The important part: make sure you find a stud, your ceiling joist and install it right under it to avoid cracks on your ceiling and potential fall. Also, LEVEL it, either with a tool, or a string or thread. Tighten it, tighten it, tighten it!After some workout it does become little loose, so it will need additional tightening in the process, but that’s pretty easy to do by turning it counter clockwise, or even just spinning in that directions tightens it by default. It is just a little teeny tinny bit wobbly, but not enough to make a big difference, and maybe if you don’t need to use any extensions for ceilings up to 7’7″ then it might be even more stable. I had to use a 6″ extension for mine, and its seems to work ok.Remember, unless you are prepared for some sore muscles in your arms and legs, some bruises and occasional scratches, you shouldn’t get into this, and waste your money. However, if you do, it will most definitely keep you toned!I think this dance pole is well worth the money, it is nice enough for the price. I think it is nice for beginners, especially those who want to try and not sure if they are going to continue on regular basis. If you do continue, this pole will serve you nice, until you are ready for an upgrade.

i always wanted a pole in my house but had no idea which one to get. by the reviews i decided on this one. this works great if you don’t want to mess up your ceiling . now i admit i had it soo secured that when i did remove it, it peeled patches of paint on my ceiling, so don’t adjust too too tight.its pretty sturdy on my carpet floor and once adjusted right it feels like it wont budge. love that it can be used anywhere in the house in case you change your mind.the cons is it does pick up smudges very easily but i use rubbing alcohol to clean it.it feels like extra weight can be used on this, its states up to 250 pounds so i do believe that. its really cute and makes a sexy addition to any house/apt.shipment was fast, and came nicely packaged.Great pole for a great price!

The niceThis pole is very sturdy, if installed properly. I weigh 200 lbs & it holds my weight firmly for spins & inverts. I do have to retighten to the ceiling it after use, however, which is easy.It was easy to install & everyone loves it, including my kids. My husband also does tricks on it. It hasn’t damaged the ceiling at all, & we have a popcorn ceiling. The BadIt is very thick. I would suggest going witha 45mm pole. I have large hands & gripping this pole is still a challenge. The major downside of this pole is the plastic cover on the bottom. It is dangerous for sliding down because if you aren’t used to poling then you may not have the control to let go before you get to the plastic cover at the bottom. Newbies tend to hold onto the pole for dear life! lol! If you slide all the way to the very bottom, the cover can scrape your skin if you aren’t careful. It’s not major danger hazard, but it would be better if the pole didn’t have to have a cover. It’s a nice pole, however for the price. You get what you pay for.

Personally not my favorite, but it’s not bad for the price. I don’t like the seam from the pieces connecting, it can be uncomfortable for non-hand body parts moving over it but it’s never pinched me. Over time it does loosen slightly, which isn’t really a big problem but is important to know so it doesn’t get too loose. I have also grown to dislike the 50mm poles, I personally prefer a smaller pole since I have smaller hands. But for the money, I haven’t had any serious issues, it hasn’t collapsed on me (and judging from youtube that’s a positive thing for a pole lol) If you have a higher than standard ceiling I would definitely recommend a single-piece pole (the more connectors you have, the more likely you’ll have a spill) I’m looking to upgrade, mostly because I want a thinner pole and a spinner, but if you’re just starting and need something to practice with, this is pretty nice for the price.

I received my pole on July 3rd. the set up was easy enough; however, I would recommend using it on carpet. I tried and it during testing (tugging and pulling) it fell.It installed well on hardwood flooring. The pole is pretty study. I’ve used it maybe a total of five times, but this week I decided to go balls to the wall and use my pole. To do so I decided it’d be best if I moved it to a bigger area. What?! Fricking Lock nut at the bottom is stuck! I was extra careful when I first installed to not screw on too tight so that this would be prevented. I’ve tried for days and days to get this fixed. Tried with the tool that comes with the product, tried with some household tools, tried, tried, and tried. If I wanted a permanent pole, I would have bought one. All in all I would suggest saving saving that 160 you’re going to pay for this and but it towards a 250 ($90 extra bucks) Xpole or else you’ll literally flush 160 done the toilet.I’ve ordered an xpole so I’ve basically spent $410 on dance poles… 9/10 you really do get what you pay for.

So I was doing pole at a studio in Lansing until it got closed down. I took about 5 months off from pole because I couldn’t afford an expensive pole and I’ve been burned before buying cheap ones off amazon ( Bada Bing Portable pole turned out to be a prop that held NO weight before it tipped over, like no leaning on it even). I was nervous about this and bought it after pretty extensive research. Set up wasn’t bad, just make sure your paying attention to the directions, I tried to wing it and ended up starting over, no problems with tightening, had it for weeks now and only tightened it once, just a little. I have carpet and popcorn ceilings, and have no issues whatsoever, and no scarring to the ceiling. Great pole!!

This was my first pole purchase. I am in a dance class so I am learning pole tricks and practice at home. It is very easy to set up and take down (portable). I have moved it twice and its been set up easily each time. It is also very sturdy. I weigh 150 pounds. I absolutely recommend this pole over a lot of the others. VERY SATISFIED!

I decided to get a pole after watching the youtube videos of the other pole dancers out there. For the product, this pole is legit. As long as you install it correctly, you are golden. Ensure it is tightened enough, BUT NOT TOO MUCH. I made the mistake of tightening it TOO much and had a really hard time unscrewing it. Also, be sure you READ THE DIRECTIONS. Remember the “righty tighty, lefty loosey” deal? Not so much with this one. It’s basically the opposite.Anyway, I’m overall really satisfied with the product. And last thing, just a warning that pole dancing is NOT EASY. It takes a lot of strength, your hands get rough, you get bruised up, and I personally think you need a little natural “freak” in ya to make it look nice lol. Otherwise, it’s a great product and super fun to have in the house!
