A 2013 Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame perfume, Red Door was composed in 1989 by Master Perfumer Carlos Benaim to commemorate the famous “red door” of the Elizabeth Arden Salon on Fifth Avenue in New York City. This is an elegant and refined floral for women with notes of Orange Blossom, Anise, Peach, Carnation, Tuberose, Ylang Ylang, Honey and a base of Heliotrope, Benzoin, Cedar, and Sandalwoodand epitomizes luxury.

I love this perfume and recieve alot of compliments on it, but my husband came to amazon to order me a bottle for my birthday and I was a little disappointed in the size for the price, as Walmart carries it for just $38.00 for the largest bottle you can get. This was way over priced. I suggest people go to Walmart for this brand

I have worn this scent for decades. It smells very nice on me, which is not necessarily true for you. But, if your chemistry works with it, people will turn when you walk by and ask you what you have on. A man recently did just that. Try it if you are brave enough.

I’m a firm believer that scent is more important in our lives than we acknowledge. Always used same scent when held my grandbabies so they would know me. This is the one I get most compliments on. We give hugs when we pass the peace at church and they all like my perfume. The vet walked into a small examining room and said ” what is that lovely smell? ” I told him ” must be the dog”. He insisted I give him the name of my perfume so he could buy some for his wife. This is the best scent on the market.

I had ordered this with another perfume as a set, Red door has always been a favorite of mine.. but I put this on three times and I was like, this perfume smells old I just couldn’t wear it anymore… so I contact Amazon and they replaced it with a new one that smells perfect! Thank you Amazon! ♥️

My mother has been wearing Red Door for years. Decades? Anyway, to me, the smell of Red Door reminds me of my mother and all of the nice things that go along with that. This is one of those fabulous scents that can become a part of the fabric of your life. I associate the smell with holidays, birthdays and maybe even a night out at the casino. It’s demure, it’s soft, but it also has an underlying allure that is sure to please.As a retired military spouse, my mother has been buying the 3.3 ounce eau de toilette at the BX (Base Exchange) for around $30, and I understand that was often a nice value for this fragrance in that volume. What a coup it seemed to find it here on Amazon for just over $23.00 and eligible for Prime shipping! I was able to purchase a bottle as a last minute birthday gift for my mother and have it on her doorstep within 2 business days.What makes this such an exceptionally nice deal is the ability to get free shipping. The photo of what I purchased was of Red Door Classic. It is a bottle with a red half moon top, a gold border below the red top with a clear bottle of et de toilette in the base. The photo to the right of this writing square IS NOT what I was shown when I made the purchase and not what I wanted but was what was mailed to my mom , as it was a gift. Unacceptable!!

I like the soft, pleasing scent. I almost always get compliments from people as to how nice I smell. From women as well as from men. My only complaint is that after I wear it on a daily basis I can’t smell it any more! And I love the scent too.

I was so excited about receiving my Red Door Eau de Toilette Spray. I was gifted a bottle of the same type – eau de toilette – years ago and absolutely loved this scent. With my original spray, a small amount went a long way. The smell was so full and delightful.The scent that was wafting out of the packaging when I opened it should have been my first clue, but I went ahead anyway. I was extremely disappointed upon smelling this spray. It was more chemically than anything, with just a hint of the original signature smell. I am assuming the recipe has changed, or what now qualifies as an Eau de Toilette has. I immediately tried to return it, only to find out that its not possible because its considered a hazardous material. If you have ever purchased this in the past, be forewarned – it is NOT the same at all. I have seen the same product elsewhere for half of the price – please check there first.

It doesn’t smell the same, my husband said it smells like bug spray! I buy mine orginally from Walgreen’s but didn’t want to make the drive. So ordered this and it doesn’t seem to be the same scent!

This is probably my favorite women’s scents. I always get compliments when I wear it. But I use it very lightly, a little goes a long way. Try spraying a little on your brush after a shower and brush your hair with it. It stays a long time.

I have given my reviews here on Amazon re: Red Door Eau De Parfume and how Fantastic it smells! Since I started wearing it years ago – I have always gotten such FANTASTIC and constant compliments on HOW nice I SMELL! I decided that since I get so many compliments on how nice I smell that I would always wear this Perfume and not waste my money on anything else…(though I have on some “other” EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE perfumes. When I have worn “other” perfumes I noticed that I didn’t get the constant compliments…so why bother? For example – when shopping or when I used to work at a Country Club people ALWAYS asked me WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?!! Men are always asking me and they even take out a piece of paper and write it down so they could buy it for their significant other. My mother has now been buying and wearing Red Door because my father would always tell me how nice I smell and would ask me what was I wearing! Because I LOVE Red Door and how fantastic it smells I decided to buy ALL the other products of the same scent and try them out too. This Red Door Body Powder is FANTASTIC and it smells so yummy – not to mention how SMOOTH AND SILKY if feels on my skin. I don’t wear it during the day because of the soft white finish on my body but what I love to do is wear it in the evening before I put my nightgown or pajamas on. Like the Red Door Body Lotion it also smells fantastic and leaves a attractive silky feel on my skin. Before I go to bed I like to shower with my Red Door Shower Gel, put the lotion on and then finish it with the Body Powder so I feel and smell so nice during the night. The lotion soaks right in to your skin and there is NO GREASY feel to it! So putting the powder on afterwards works out well. And my husband has said he LOVES the way I SMELL and FEEL too and that is always nice to hear!
