I have been a Santa for several years now. This seemed to be an upgrade of the plush suit previously used.This suit is very attractive and received many compliments.That said do not buy this suit unless you intend to employ it for only occasional use.I reacted to previous reviews regarding the buttons. This is true, the buttons are poorly attached and need additional stitching before any appearances. We do no want small children or babies removing them.Further the loops that hold the belt tore out after the 3rd performances and needed to be reattached.The jacket is a little on the large size, nice for extra filling if needed, and is very comfortable. It is not as warm as jackets used in the past, which is a huge asset. No pun intended.The velvet/fabric is somewhat delicate. It does not handle repetitive rubbing or similar events. Thus the seat and knees of the pants lost their luster after 1 season.So, overall this is a great suit, with the adjustments (reinforce the buttons and belt loops) for occasional and light use. If you are using this as an active Santa or for several performances, the plush style of fabric or a heavier velvet is probably a better choice.Personally, if I could I would ask for my money back on this product or a refund toward my next purchase of a better quality suit as it did not last a season for me.
